Special appearance for one day only!
The Museum is pleased to host Dale Chihuly, James Mongrain and Team Chihuly for a special appearance in the Museum of Glass Hot Shop.

Saturday, February 3, 2007 from 1 5 pm
Team Chihuly will demonstrate the art of making Ikebana, large-scale Venetian vessels that contain one to three long-stemmed glass flowers and leaves.

[photo: ikebana vessel]Four 55-minute sessions are scheduled beginning at 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm and 4 pm. Visitors can purchase a special event timed ticket at a cost of $5 plus regular admssion (Museum of Glass members and children under age 6 are free). Tickets will be issued beginning at 10 am on a first come, first served basis. Mr. Chihuly will also conduct a Chihuly Art Kit signing session from 1 to 1:30 pm in the Grand Hall.

Museum of Glass members will recieve priority access into the Hot Shop and will not be charged the $5 special event fee. In addition, all new members who join on February 3 will receive a complimentary copy of Chihuly Short Cuts video (while supplies last). Learn more about membership.
